No. None of Kettering's graduate programs require GMAT or GRE. Admissions decisions are holistic — your academic record, professional experience, and statement of purpose carry the weight.

Yes — this is by design. The vast majority of Kettering graduate students are employed full-time. Online formats and evening in-person options are structured around professional schedules.

The MBA is 40 credit hours. Completion time varies based on course load. Students can start any term, and transfer credits (up to 8 hours) may reduce total time. Contact an advisor for a personalized completion timeline.

Both share the same core business curriculum. The traditional MBA is open to all majors and is available online and on campus.

The MSEM is limited to graduates of ABET-accredited engineering or computing programs, or Kettering University graduates in an engineering discipline. If you hold a non-engineering degree, the MBA or MSOM may be better fits.

Yes. Kettering University is an approved partner for both GM's TAP and TEP programs. Contact our admissions team with your GM employee ID and we will connect you with a dedicated advisor for GM participants.

Fully online programs have no required campus visits. All coursework and advising can be completed remotely. The Tech MBA is the only program that requires on-campus attendance.

Up to 8 transfer credits may be available, subject to evaluation. Contact your admissions advisor to initiate a transfer credit review after admission.
